How do I tell if Stripe supports my country?

Read that list. If the country is not on it, this site does not invent a local Stripe merchant path. Dated per-country notes live under /blocked/.
Countries checked against that list on 2026-09-03 and not listed (no full, Preview, or Extended-network row) include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Vietnam, Morocco, Nepal, and Turkey. India is listed as Preview. Nigeria is listed as Extended network. (Stripe, Global)

What Stripe requires for an account in another country
Stripe’s business-account checklist is: a legal entity registered in the same country where you plan to open the account, a tax ID, a physical location that can receive mail (not a P.O. box), a phone number, government-issued ID, a working website, and a physical bank account in that country that “can’t be a virtual bank account.” (Stripe, Requirements to open a Stripe account in another country, checked 2026-09-03)
A US LLC plus EIN can satisfy the entity and tax-ID lines for a US Stripe account. They do not replace the physical bank, the non-P.O. box address, or Stripe’s review.
If the representative is not a US individual and has no SSN or ITIN, Stripe expects a local non-US tax ID and documentation that the person is not a US taxpayer. (Stripe, Business representative tax ID requirements for US companies, checked 2026-09-03)
Philippines: Mercury will not onboard on residence
Mercury states it is “unable to open accounts for founders living in any of the countries and regions listed below” and includes Philippines, along with Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Vietnam. (Mercury, Prohibited countries, checked 2026-09-03)
Mercury also requires a US-formed entity and does not accept a registered-agent address, P.O. box, or UPS Store address as the principal place of business. (Mercury, Eligibility and requirements, checked 2026-09-03)
A US LLC plus EIN does not override those Mercury rules.
